THE REALITY OF ACADEMIC PROCRASTINATION FOR STUDENTS AT A’SHARQIYAH UNIVERSITY IN SULTANATE OF OMAN CONSIDERING ONLINE LEARNING

This study aims to identify academic procrastination among students at A’Sharqiyah University and explore the statistically significant differences in for attributed their demographic characteristics. The identified used a random sample of 402 University. researchers descriptive survey approach answer research questions. scale was prepared by reviewing several scales that measured relevant variables. conducted first semester year 2022 – 2023. findings showed is spreading medium level, which different from hypothetical level phenomenon society statistical significance lower than 0.05. spread this did not differ according gender, college, or year, but it varied cumulative average GPA. whose GPAs ranged between 2.00 3.00 were most who procrastinated completing tasks compared higher 3.00. recommended making more effort help organize time, raise learning motivation, train them self-efficacy.
